REMS® EVA Pipe Threader Set 1/2″ – 2″

The REMS EVA 520017 manual pipe threader is a high-quality and easy-to-use tool designed for professionals. It offers a comfortable grip, excellent cutting start and overall threading. Dies are universal to al REMS pipe threading tools.

Ratchet Lever

The ratchet lever is made from top quality steel then plastic coated for comfortable use, the handle has serrations for maximum grip and the ratchet rotation is extremely simple to operate. The die heads seat perfectly into the lever head offering fast and easy die changeover.

Quick-change Die Heads

The die heads are manufactured from high-grade steel and are fully tempered and hardened to ensure long die life. Perfect design enables the user to experiences excellent start cutting, easy threading and no die stalling over long length threading. The dies have long pipe guidance for perfect centering and the chip holes are wider at the outside of the dies to offer good chip flow and clean threads. The die heads seat perfectly into the lever head offering fast and easy die changeover. Rems dies are universal to all Rems threading tools and virtually indestructible in use, this keeps die stocking down and makes for a very cost effective option.

Thread-cutting Materials

Use only REMS® thread-cutting Spezial oil and Sanitol spray. You will have perfect threading results, long durability of dies as well as high protection of the drive unit.

REMS Spezial: High-alloyed, mineral based thread-cutting oil.

REMS Sanitol: Mineral oil-free, synthetic thread-cutting oil for drinking water supplies.

Maintenance

Keep the ratchet lever, quick-change die heads and their receptacle in the ratchet lever clean. Clean heavily soiled die heads and remove loose chips. Clean plastic parts (e.g. housing) only with REMS® CleanM machine cleaner (SKU 140119) or a mild soap and a damp cloth. Do not use household cleaners. These often contain chemicals which can damage the plastic parts. Never use petrol, turpentine, thinner or similar products for cleaning.
